Atento means “mindful” or “attentive” in Portuguese. It is no coincidence that the forest green Wildling bears this name. After all, it is the result of an extraordinary collaboration between Wildling and the organization , which is committed to maintaining ecosystems and the coexistence of humans and animals.
The entire value chain of the Atento upper - from sheep farming to the weaving, dyeing and processing of the wool into the shoe - takes place within a radius of 150 km in Portugal. The Atento upper is woven in a herringbone pattern, which gives the forest green yarn its unique texture.
Complemented by a membrane, a wool lining as well as sewn-in inner soles from Wildling's cooperation partner Nordwolle, Atento is a warming splash of color on cool days. Insoles such as Wooly or Felty can easily be added to the model if required to keep even more warmth inside the shoe.
Unlike its predecessor Perto, Atento is available in children's sizes as well as adult sizes. For an extra splash of color, the children's sizes come with an orange Shell Sole, while the Shell Sole for adults comes in a pastel matcha green.
